Etching Lines

We have built etching lines, rinse lines and treater lines for industries ranging from battery manufacturing, membrane casting and rinsing, to plating lines.

Each process varies from the speed, chemistry and substrate. Some examples of materials and chemistries we are capable of processing are as follows;

Liquid Media: Sodium Hydroxide, Nitric Acid, Sulfuric Acid, DI water

Webs: Aluminum Grid, Polysulphone Membrane, Nitrocellulose Membrane, Polycarbonate, Polyester Copper

We manufacture our own tanks and festoon systems from such materials as 304 and 316 stainless steel, polypropylene or titanium. Finishes range from quality weld and fill, to sanitary (dairy house) quality.

Our tension control systems maintain tensions as low as 0.05 pli at 6-inches wide.
