Project Manager

We currently have at least one position available for a Project Manager. Below is the basic job description.

DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING

DESCRIPTION: The project manager (PM) is responsible for completion of customer orders on time and on budget. The Engineering Manager assigns these projects to the PM. The PM must review the quotation to the customer and must ensure all deliverables are met. The PM will use MS Project to develop a detailed plan for project completion. The Engineering Manager must approve this plan. The PM must Review the necessary machine designs with the Project Engineer in a manner consistent with ConQuip standards. The RM will need to communicate with the Project Engineer about the schedule, budget and designs and have agreement at the beginning of a project. The PM is responsible to review all designs as they are being done to the extent that they meet all the customer requirements per the quote and/or machine specification. The PM must review the progress of the project through all phases including start-up. The PM is responsible to report any adverse deviation to the project plan to the Engineering Manager. Reason for deviation and an appropriate corrective action must be planned with the Engineering Manager to return the project to plan. The PM is the point of contact with the customer. The PM will coordinate with the customer and get design approval for machine design, controls layouts and interfacing, utilities interfacing and overall line layouts.

REQUIREMENTS:

1.) Education:

Required: BS or higher degree in Engineering or 5 years of equivalent experience.

Preferred: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Controls Engineering.

2.) Skills

Required: MS Office, MS Project

Preferred: Solidworks 2008, AutoCAD, machining techniques, fabrication techniques, web handling

               experience, coating, laminating, slitting, general converting experience, ABILITY TO

               SPEAK MANDARIN A PLUS.

3.) Physical

Sitting and operating a computer for extended periods. Standing, walking and climbing to inspect equipment. Use of hand tools.
